You’re at a concert, shopping at the mall, or in another public place and hear what sounds like gunfire. Do you know what to do? If you can’t answer “yes” to this question, A.L.I.V.E. Active Shooter Survival Response Training will teach you the steps to increase your chances of survival during a mass shooting incident.
Who Should Take Active Shooter Training?
Anyone can benefit from learning how to respond to active shooter incidents. Some of the more common places for an active shooter situation include schools, hospitals, governmental facilities, and various businesses. But these events can occur at any time and location, impacting people of all ages, races, and other demographics.
If law enforcement is notified of an active shooting, they are trained to respond swiftly and effectively. However, what you do in the first few minutes of an active shooter situation—before officers can reach you and stop the threat— can impact your survivability. A.L.I.V.E.’s active shooter training courses teach exactly what to do should one of these events occur near you or your family.
